Celebrate the possibilities of disabilities! The first edition of The People on the Corner had its premiere reading at the Walker Art Center in April 2003. This new edition, designed by Holly Hee Won Coughlin, has a new cover, layout, font type and additional pages for interaction with readers, young and old. With this second printing Leslye hopes that her book will continue to promote more visibility in picture books for children with disabilities, and also inspire all children to create a more inclusive world.
