Persistent Theatre Productions presents

New Works Staged Reading of The Bernice Project
A staged reading of a new play by Debbie and Meggie Greivell.
Based on True Events.

In The Bernice Project, set in the wake of World War II, society shuns Bernice, an unwed single mother. She heroically overcomes the iron hands of the Catholic Church and her mother as she mobilizes her inner strength to go up against the insurmountable odds of keeping her newborn daughter.
