From 2006-2023, Dreamland Arts had a 40-seat theater in the Hamline Midway neighborhood of St. Paul. The building used to be Hedtke Electric, an electrical contractor’s shop. Zaraawar Mistry and Leslye Orr bought the property in 2005 and remodeled the building into an intimate, but well-equipped theater, and lived in a house attached to the theater building through an underground passage. The business was named after a dilapidated movie theater in Secunderabad, India. On July 31, 2023, the combined house and theater property was sold to theater artists Laura Rudolph Morris and Eric Morris, who now run the theater as The Hive Collaborative.
