I Am Cate Blanchett, written and performed by Susan Langston, is the inspirational tale of one woman’s journey down the rabbit hole of crazy. Part spiritual memoir, part spiritual comedy, this multimedia performance will transport you to other worlds and ignite your imagination. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, and you’ll leave believing that just about anything is possible.
Susan Langston is an emerging writer, storyteller and performance artist. Her first solo piece, I Am Cate Blanchett, was performed in 2017 and 2018. Her work is influenced by her twenty-seven years as a psychotherapist, as well as practices of traditional healing learned from teachers around the world. As a novelist, she is passionate about creating LGBTQ characters who mirror the strength and resilience of that community, characters with whom readers feel an affinity, and with storylines that reflect relevant struggles and triumphs of the heart. Her first novel, Your Breath With Mine, is searching for a publishing home; she is currently working on her second novel. She is a member of The Loft Literary Center.
