Concerts by the One World Ensemble: Shahriyar Jamshidi, kamanche (Kurdish spike fiddle) and vocal; and Alex Lubet, mountain dulcimer, guitar, and ukulele.

The One World Ensemble, comprised of Toronto-based Kurdish-Canadian Shahriyar Jamshidi and Minnesotan Alex Lubet, was formed in 2016, for a series of performances in Ontario. We are reuniting for Shahriyar Jamshidi’s US debut. The program consists of music inspired by Kurdish, Jewish and other traditions, original compositions, folk music, and improvisations.
