The Stuffed Animal SPRING Show, on Zoom

Tickets: Free. Contributions to support Dreamland Arts are welcome.

Format: This performance will be presented on Zoom in a Meeting format. Attendees will have the option to interact with the performer or participate only as observers.

The Stuffed Animal SPRING Show, on Zoom

The Stuffed Animal Show is an interactive theater experience (now on Zoom) for children ages 3+ and their stuffed animals. Kids and their plushies virtually join Zip the chipmunk and his friends to celebrate the onset of Spring. Leslye Orr animates the whole gang with wacky sounds and voices while also sharing creative ideas for imaginative play. A tiny-sized tea party for all stuffed animals follows each performance.

Technical things you will need:
– A phone, tablet or computer for viewing
– Internet browser or the free Zoom App
– A broadband internet connection is preferred

Fun things to have (all items are Optional):
– A table for the kids to set their stuffed animals
– A regular umbrella
– A doll-size umbrella (for a surprise)
– Doll-size dishes for the tea party

Gear up for the holidays with this fun, stress-free introductory improv event. Bask in light and laughter with other curious, like-minded souls! Improvisation is about embracing the gifts in each moment. What better way to practice giving thanks? Join us! All are welcome!

Jim Robinson has dual careers in psychology and improvisation. He is a veteran of the Brave New Workshop and of the St. Kate’s/St. Thomas psychology departments. Jim recently taught his course “Improvisation and Mental Health” as a Fulbright Specialist in Pakistan.
